Convinced of the universal and timeless character of Astor Piazzolla’s music, we have decided to survey, organize and make visible the complete catalog of his works so that everyone can get to know the variety of his creations
According to data provided by the Society of Authors and Composers of Music in France (SACEM), the total number of works registered in the name of Astor Piazzolla is six hundred and eighty-five, but only a small percentage of them are known and performed worldwide.

To broaden the knowledge of Astor Piazzolla’s creations and to facilitate and enhance access to his legacy.

The core of this initiative is the alphabetically ordered catalog of works with information that promotes contact with the publishers that administer his work. This information allows contacting those who provide the scores of Astor’s works as well as those who receive the requests for Synchronization (permissions for the reproduction of a musical work in an audiovisual work or in advertising).
The curatorship of the content also presents fundamental aspects of Astor’s life, mainly linked to his musical career: biomusical chronology, outstanding musical events and the complete discography.
